Terms of Service
FirstTee is a discovery and alerts platform that connects golfers with public golf courses. We do not book tee times, take payments, or act as a reseller. Please read these terms carefully.

1. What FirstTee is (and isn't)
FirstTee is an independent search, discovery, and notification service. We help you find public golf courses and alert you when tee times matching your criteria become available on the course's own reservation system.
FirstTee does not:
- Book, hold, or reserve tee times on your behalf.
- Accept, process, or collect any payment for a tee time.
- Act as a reseller, ticketing agent, or marketplace for tee times.
- Set prices, cart fees, taxes, or any other charges shown by a course.
Every reservation is made by you, directly on the golf course's own booking website, under that course's terms and conditions. We simply link you to it.
2. Bookings happen on the course's website
When you click a tee time or alert notification on FirstTee, you are taken to the golf course's official booking page (or the third-party reservation platform the course uses, such as GolfNow, foreUP, Chronogolf, or similar). The booking contract is between you and the golf course. FirstTee is not a party to that contract.
3. Payments are between you and the course
You pay the golf course (or its reservation platform) directly at the rate the course posts. FirstTee never charges a booking fee, never processes tee time payments, and never touches your card or bank information for a booking.
FirstTee is not responsible for any charge, hold, refund, chargeback, surcharge, tax, cart fee, cancellation fee, or other amount related to a booking. All payment questions and disputes must be handled with the course or its reservation platform.
4. Cancellations, refunds, and course policies
Cancellation windows, refund eligibility, no-show fees, weather policies, and rescheduling are set and enforced by the golf course. FirstTee cannot cancel, modify, refund, or reschedule a booking. Please contact the course directly.
5. Alerts and availability information
FirstTee syncs availability data from courses and their reservation platforms on a best-effort basis. Availability can change second by second and tee times may be taken by another golfer before you complete checkout on the course's site. We do not guarantee that any listed time will remain available, and we are not liable if a slot is booked by someone else before you reserve it.
6. Accuracy of course information
Course details (name, location, holes, amenities, hours, website links) are aggregated from public sources and the courses themselves. We work to keep this information accurate but make no warranty as to its completeness or timeliness.
7. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us at founders@fairwaygolf.biz of any unauthorized use. Do not scrape the service, resell FirstTee data, misrepresent your identity, or attempt to disrupt the platform. Violations may result in account suspension.
8. Third-party services
Golf course websites, reservation platforms, mapping providers, and payment processors linked from FirstTee are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. FirstTee has no control over those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or business practices.
9. Limitation of liability
FirstTee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FirstTee and its operators are not liable for any booking, payment, refund, on-course experience, injury, property damage, or other loss arising from your interaction with a golf course or reservation platform. Course conditions, playability, staff conduct, safety, and on-course services are the sole responsibility of the course operator.
Because FirstTee does not process bookings or payments, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), except where a higher amount is required by applicable law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of FirstTee after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
